My love for fashion began at an early age, nurtured by the time I spent with my mom as she often made my clothes. I still cherish the memories of our trips to the fabric store, where we’d wander for hours, running our hands over bolts of fabric and flipping through pattern books. Together, we would choose the perfect materials that would transform into a new dress or my favorite pair of pants. Those moments weren’t just about creating clothes—they were about creating memories, sparking my early obsession with style and self-expression.
Today, that same passion for curating style continues to inspire me. I find inspiration in bygone eras (I would have thrived living in the 50s and 60s, though the 70s is probably my greatest muse). Travel is another cornerstone of my style—it offers endless opportunities to express individuality through organic materials and bold prints that evoke destinations like the French Riviera, the Amalfi Coast, or San Miguel de Allende. Living in LA fuels my creativity with its eclectic energy and the constant opportunity to "get dressed," whether it’s for a date night with my husband or lunch with girlfriends. I’m drawn to brands that tell meaningful stories through craftsmanship and design, celebrating artistry, authenticity, and individuality. To me, fashion is more than just what we wear—it’s a powerful way to tell our personal stories and showcase who we are.
While I have a deep appreciation and experience in all facets of fashion, resort wear holds a special place in my heart—and it’s what inspired the creation of Holiday St. There’s something transformative about dressing for vacations: stepping away from the everyday and exploring style through the lens of life on holiday. Resort wear isn’t simply about packing; it’s about curating a wardrobe that reflects the spirit of your destination and enhances your experience. It’s an opportunity to blend comfort with elegance, play with new textures and fabrics, and embrace the adventure and beauty of where you are.
When I’m not curating Suitcase Edits for Holiday St. or working with clients, you can most likely find me on the tennis court or flipping through the latest travel magazine, brainstorming my next faraway escape.
